Code of Ethics

The ethical principles that guide my work in mental training

My commitments

By agreeing to support you in your mental training, I commit to upholding this code of ethics:

1
I carry out this work based on my training, my personal experience, and with the support of a supervising psychologist.
2
I am bound by professional confidentiality, and therefore commit to the confidentiality of any information entrusted to me.
3
Aware of my position, I refrain from any abuse of influence toward any person involved in this support.
4
For this work, we clearly define together the framework of intervention and our mutual commitments. I take every step necessary, within the original proposal, to help achieve the agreed goals.
5
The type of mental training I offer is a development method oriented toward the athlete's autonomy.
6
In line with the original proposal, I adapt my interventions to respect each person's learning pace and individual progress. I draw on the pedagogical tools and exercises I provide.
7
I am attentive to and respectful of the customs, cultures, contexts, and constraints of the organizations and people I work with.
8
I ask you, as an athlete, not to share the methods, tools, and documents I provide without my authorization.
9
I also ask you to give your very best and to exclude any unlawful and/or unethical practice (doping, cheating…).
10
In all situations, I prioritize dialogue to help individuals and organizations thrive in their respective missions. I work to support and promote the autonomy and fulfillment of each person, in alignment with their project.
